Individuality Over Imitation

Why not individuality over imitation? Growing up, that question never came up, instead it was always who's your role model, who do you admire, what do you want to become?

I never understood this. Why do we have to follow someone else's path to feel like we're doing life right? Why does success need a name attached to it before we believe it's possible?

Each person is unique. Different struggles. Different situations. Different lifestyles.

So how can anyone expect the same result by copying the same steps as someone whose whole life looked nothing like theirs?

Instead of asking "who do I want to become," maybe the better question is: How do I become a better version of myself?

Take your own ideas. Mix them with what's happening around you, with the trends, with the times you're living in.

Create an identity that's yours, not something borrowed from someone else's best moments online.

This is the confidence every person should have. You don't need to walk someone else's path to prove you're capable. Individuality over imitation isn't just a mindset, it's picking your own way instead of following someone else's pattern.
